I love my work as an educator. I am a teacher leader in the Irvine Unified School District (CA), working in technology, math, and early literacy. As a Technology Lead I have created professional learning opportunities to improve integrated technology use in K-8 classrooms. Currently, I am a Math TOSA, leading Common Core implementation in grades TK-5 throughout the district.
I am the mom of two amazing kids that inspire me every day, a 15 year old son and 13 year old daughter. Every day they teach me about being a better parent, teacher, and person. Most often I am taxi-ing kids miles in all directions, enjoying time with family and friends, playing with technology, watching a favorite movie, or reading something new. My husband and I can be found at taking pictures or video at track meets, cross country meets, and soccer games on the weekends.
